My name is Karen Shirley, and I am making my comment in the capacity of Chair of the Camosun College Research Ethics Board in BC. The comment below was suggested by a REB member, Ruth Lyall, and the REB unanimously support it.

Appendix B: Glossary, New Definition of Responsible Conduct of Research, last sentence: We believe that the sentence should include the value of reciprocity. Too often in the past researchers have not given anything back to participants. But more and more, researchers are realizing the importance of reciprocity, so it is time for the RCR Framework to affirm this positive change in researchers' values.
